Roles we are looking for:
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer and Monitoring Expert to join our team in developing a robust cloud platform for our customer. This AWS-based platform serves as the unified infrastructure for over 200 developers, enabling them to build and operate applications in an environment that prioritizes security, high availability, and compliance. In this role, you will support these developer teams, ensuring they can maximize platform features and comply with enterprise standards Also, you will help to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of this platform by refining and enhancing our monitoring solutions. In addition, you will innovate and advise by creating new concepts to pro-actively improve the platform continuously.This role will involve working with cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Load Balancer, Docker, Helm, DevOps Pipelines, and Kubernetes Tools (e.g., kubectl).
We accept only employment type of collaboration (CIM) for this project.
Joining SHE, you will have to:

Develop, operate, and enhance our cloud platform built on AWS (EC2, Lambda, and Kubernetes).

Design, implement, and optimize monitoring systems for the platform, focusing on Prometheus, Grafana, Instana, and OpenSearch.

Ensure high standards of security, compliance, and performance, using AWS VPC for network segmentation and access control.

Develop alerting and visualization dashboards to proactively address issues and bottlenecks.

Provide technical support and architectural guidance to teams using the platform.

“Firefighting”: Work on automated health checks, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis for system events

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, enabling efficient and secure code deployments.

Perform regular maintenance and updates to platform components, ensuring up-to-date functionality and security.

Support compliance and security monitoring, ensuring data visibility and integrity.

Assist in scaling and maintaining monitoring tools to support a dynamic, multi-tenant environment.

The requirements for this job are:
- Solid experience in AWS cloud services (VPC, EC2, Lambda, Kubernetes, …) and a deep understanding of cloud security and compliance.
- Proven experience in cloud-native monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Instana, OpenSearch).
- Knowledge of production readiness standards, with the ability to implement and enforce these across varied teams.
- Experience in incident response and troubleshooting in distributed environments.
- Excellent collaboration skills, especially in supporting and guiding independent development teams.
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions, with experience in developing and managing CI/CD workflows.
- Experience in performing maintenance tasks and regularly updating cloud platform components.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code with Terraform, with hands-on experience in managing and automating infrastructure.
- Ability to consult and communicate effectively with developers to promote best practices.
