Our History
SHE Informationstechnologie AG was founded in 1987 by Ulrich Engelhardt in Ludwigshafen. Over the course of three decades, the company has evolved from a traditional IT service provider into an independent medium-sized enterprise with over 250 employees, which today operates in four business divisions: Cyber Security, Managed Services, AI & Data, and Digital Solutions.
In 2010, we expanded our operations to include our own branch in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This gives us access to one of Europe’s most exciting pools of IT talent and enables us to offer our clients nearshore capacity to EU standards and under German law.
Today, over 250 specialists in Ludwigshafen and Cluj are working on IT solutions for German and European SMEs. We have grown without losing our identity.

Cluj-Napoca is regarded as Europe’s Silicon Valley. Over 1,700 IT graduates leave the local universities every year. Our branch gives us access to this talent pool and enables us to put together scalable project teams of EU standard, under German project management.
